Trust. Continuity. Ownership.

Never locked to Etashi.

Useful technology should create leverage—not dependency.

Etashi can manage a service without making the client dependent on Etashi. We address founder risk honestly through client data ownership, defined source-access rights, clear operational responsibility and a clean path to another competent provider if circumstances change.

01

Etashi principle

Your organisation retains its data, operating choices and the implementation access and knowledge required for a credible transition.

No technical hostage situation. No hidden dependency around your client implementation.

Product IP and client control

Source access that supports a real handover.

VaultIQ’s reusable platform, shared modules and general product improvements remain Etashi intellectual property. Client data, business material and branding assets remain the client’s. White-labelling gives the client its own name, visual identity and client-facing experience without transferring ownership of the underlying VaultIQ framework. The client implementation is maintained with the access, licence and documentation needed for continuity—not merely a periodically delivered ZIP file.

Standing commitment

Defined source-access rights

Agreed client-specific configuration, integrations, workflows and associated source are kept visible through a client-accessible repository or mirror during the service. Production releases are tagged and traceable. If the service ends, a replacement provider may operate and modify the client implementation under the agreed transition licence, without acquiring the right to resell VaultIQ.

01

Deployable

Build, configuration, database migration and rollback steps are documented.

02

Operable

Runbooks describe dependencies, monitoring, common failures and escalation.

03

Portable

Data export, deletion and third-party dependencies are made visible.

04

Replaceable

A competent provider can continue the client service under the agreed transition rights.

Shared responsibility

Managed by Etashi. Governed with the client.

For the VaultIQ Managed Service, Etashi operates the application while the client remains accountable for business purpose, data decisions, authorised users and the use of outputs. Infrastructure providers support the underlying services; broader client security and IT operations remain outside the VaultIQ boundary.

Responsibility Client Etashi Platform provider
Business ownership, data classification and risk acceptance Accountable Consulted
Application architecture, code, tests and technical documentation Approves outcomes Responsible
VaultIQ hosting, deployment and application monitoring Informed Responsible Supplies underlying services
User approval, data use and business decisions Accountable Implements agreed controls
Application backup, restore and recovery arrangements Agrees service requirements Responsible Supplies backup infrastructure
Application defects, behaviour and agreed enhancements Prioritises Responsible Supports underlying-service diagnosis
Supplier exit and replacement-provider appointment Accountable Provides handover Supports account or data transfer

This is the default VaultIQ allocation. Exact boundaries, service levels, recovery objectives and third-party dependencies are agreed for each client service.

Security & data integrity

Controls shaped around the service and the information it handles.

01

Access & secrets

Least privilege, MFA, controlled production access and secrets kept outside source code. Ownership and escalation are agreed before sensitive systems go live.

02

Data lifecycle

Authoritative sources, data minimisation, retention, deletion, subprocessors and data locations are made explicit rather than left to assumption.

03

RAG integrity

Source provenance, citations, versioning, permission-aware retrieval and predictable re-indexing help keep answers tied to approved business information.

04

AI-specific risk

Prompt injection, sensitive disclosure, excessive agency and model regressions are considered alongside conventional application security.

Founder-led, by design

Direct senior attention. Honest operational boundaries.

Etashi provides a fully managed VaultIQ application service with clearly defined business-hours support. This does not imply a 24×7 security operations centre or responsibility for the client’s wider IT environment. Enhanced or out-of-hours coverage is offered only where suitable partner-backed capacity is agreed.

AI helps accelerate research, implementation and testing. Human accountability, review, client data ownership and a credible exit path remain non-negotiable.
